DePaul Taiwanese Student Association又屆新學年度的開始，各校台灣留學生也陸續向學校報到或重返校園。每年開學之初，駐芝加哥辦事處文化組與伊利諾理工學院建築師講員群及台灣同學聯合舉辦的「建築之旅」跨校活動，已然成為此地台灣留學生間的一大盛事，七年來佳評如潮，參與者皆稱收獲甚多。
2008年建築之旅定於9月20日(週六)舉行，主題為「Highrise高層建築」，活動內容及流程如下：

[訊息] Google Transit arrives in Chicago
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is partnering with Google to bring schedule and station data for our 8 rail lines and 154 bus routes to Google Maps. Having CTA's information available on Google Maps allows us to reach a broader audience; by including our station/stop icons in maps, we can seamlessly introduce people to public transportation options as they look up locations or search for directions, and encourage alternatives to driving.

[活動] 2008 春季 CSO 音樂欣賞會 (Mar 5)
芝加哥交響樂團，Chicago Symphony Orchestra，簡稱 CSO，成立於1890年。在過去的一個世紀，CSO 成為美國交響樂史上不可或缺的重要角色之一，其足跡遍佈全世界。我們耳熟能詳的馬友友先生更在 1990 年成為 CSO 的重要嘉賓，往後每年總是能在 CSO 欣賞到馬友友先生的演出。
CSO 為了回饋大眾的支持也為了更廣泛的推廣古典樂，陸續推出免費的演出讓民眾參與。其中的 All-Access Chamber Series 更是在 2005-2006 年才推出的新活動，推出以後一季四場的演出場場爆滿，每年均有許多人向隅。而 2008 春季的第一場演出將在 3 月 5 日星期三晚上 6 點 30 分開場，歡迎在芝加哥的同學們一同參與，請有興趣的同學於線上報名。

[活動] DePaul TWSA 2008 新春團樂活動
讓離鄉背井的學子們，一樣能感受濃濃的家鄉圍爐情
農曆過年一向是中國人最重要的節日，尤其到了除夕夜，家家戶戶都會圍爐聚餐，一起迎接新的一年到來。
為了讓在異鄉求學的同學們過個有年味的中國年，DePaul TWSA 特地舉辦了春節圍爐聚餐活動，聚餐地點選在 China Town 大江南北小肥羊火鍋，讓大家能在品嚐中國菜的同時，感受猶如在家鄉般的圍爐氣氛。
